Easy Tips for a Happier & Healthier Holiday Season

With the holidays upon us, it is easy to get sucked into the “throw in the towel” in mentality, or feel like you’re falling into a dark hole of sadness, overwhelm and exhaustion from running on the hamster wheel while turning to more cookies and couch time.

Here are my best tips:

Take care of yourself

  • Continue self care practices that make you feel your best

  • Be intentional about managing stress

  • Say no

  • Prioritize rest and sleep

  • Don't be too hard on yourself

Establish healthy boundaries for the Holidays

  • Communicate clearly

  • Share why it's important to you

  • Ask for support

  • Focus on what's most important to you

Add in more healthy foods

  • Instead of thinking about what you “can’t” have, add in: Water, Veggies, Protein + Eat what you love and enjoy it!

I encourage you to pick one tip/method, adopt it as your own and commit to practicing it this week.
